As the artificial intelligence era accelerates, Children’s Day gifts appear to be shifting from traditional toys to digital devices such as smartphones, PCs and graphics cards. According to the industry on the 14th, Danawa, a price comparison service operated by ConnectWave, said in its weekly actual transaction price report for the first week of May that the average transaction price for infant and toy categories during Children’s Day week, May 4-10, was 23,000 won, down 9% from the previous week. By contrast, smartphones averaged 838,000 won, up 13%; graphics cards averaged 1,052,000 won, up 13%; and monitors averaged 279,000 won, up 2%.
