Eom Jae-woong Takes Solo Lead at KPGA Gyeongbuk Open After Round 2

Eom Jae-woong, 36, of Woosung Construction, moved into the solo lead on May 15 in the second round of the KPGA Tour Gyeongbuk Open at Golfzon County Sunsan CC, a par-71 course in Gumi, North Gyeongsang Province. Eom carded six birdies and one bogey for a 5-under 66, posting 5-under for the second straight day to reach 10-under 132. Wang Jeung-hun added a 4-under round and rose to second alone at 9-under 133, one stroke behind. Eom, who debuted on the KPGA Tour in 2009, has three career wins and is seeking his fourth title this week.
