Hoban Construction is moving to introduce an artificial intelligence-based robot for inspecting cracks in exterior walls, aiming to strengthen its diagnostic capability for apartment buildings. On May 13, the company reviewed the use of a robot applying AI automated analysis and ultrasonic inspection technology at a residential site in Gyeonggi Province. The equipment is designed to diagnose not only wall surfaces but also the inside of exterior walls with greater precision. The effort is significant because it can reduce fall accident risks that may arise during conventional inspections.
