Hyundai E&C and Itochu move to cooperate on hydrogen production and supply

Hyundai E&C is entering new hydrogen energy businesses in partnership with Itochu, one of Japan’s leading general trading companies. The two companies discussed cooperation on new businesses related to hydrogen production and supply on May 13 at Itochu’s headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. The cooperation focuses on jointly exploring business opportunities centered on producing and supplying hydrogen energy. Hyundai E&C is seeking to expand new hydrogen-related businesses based on its construction and infrastructure capabilities, while Itochu is expected to use its network and business base as a Japanese trading company.
