Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance said on the 13th that it attended the launch ceremony for Korea’s national autonomous driving team, hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and signed a multilateral business agreement to build autonomous driving test cities. Under the agreement, the company will launch the industry’s first dedicated autonomous driving insurance product, covering up to ₩10 billion per accident and ₩30 billion in total annually. The product is based on a one-stop service that handles everything from insurance enrollment to accident processing. Samsung Fire also plans to provide company-tailored services, including accident analysis and information technology security consulting.
