Taereung CC Construction Moved Up to 2029 as Government Pushes Seoul-Area Housing Supply

The government plans to move up the start of construction at Taereung CC by one year to 2029 as part of efforts to expand housing supply in the Seoul metropolitan area. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance Koo Yun-cheol chaired a real estate ministers’ meeting at the Government Complex Seoul on May 15 and discussed the supply measures. The meeting also reviewed ways to provide non-apartment housing, including officetels, in the short term to improve housing stability.
