Hansot Dosirak Adds Two Yeolmu Bibimbap Bowls for Summer Meals

Hansot Dosirak said on the 15th that it will operate two seasonal summer bibimbap menus made with Korean yeolmu, or young radish, kimchi. The Yeolmu Tofu Gangdoenjang Bibimbap highlights a mild, savory flavor with tofu gangdoenjang sauce, while the Yeolmu Licorice Gochujang Bibimbap uses a special gochujang sauce with a licorice note to add umami. The company said it focused on yeolmu’s tangy taste and cool texture in response to demand for light, refreshing meals in hot weather. Reflecting the delivery-heavy nature of boxed meals, Hansot will also provide three side dishes in small packs: mat kimchi, stir-fried kimchi and seasoned dried radish. The company said the added side choices are intended to suggest a more balanced meal with its dosirak offerings.
