Published: · Source: rss.donga.com

Three humanoid robots built by U.S. startup Figure AI are continuing to sort small parcels without human intervention. Figure AI said on May 14 local time that its robots had worked for more than 24 hours without rest, and the process is being livestreamed on YouTube. As of 11:24 p.m. Korea time on May 15, the robots had processed 56,000 parcels and the total operating time had exceeded 45 hours. Each robot works continuously for eight hours, with three robots rotating. In the video, the humanoid robots use both hands to turn vinyl-wrapped and boxed parcels so that attached stickers face downward. The robots run on Figure AI’s in-house AI system, Helix-02. The disclosed continuous operation is drawing attention to the field use of robot labor. Source: rss.donga.com
