Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun met reporters on the 14th before the “Lobby Story Town Hall” event at the group’s Yangjae headquarters on Heolleung-ro, Seocho-gu, Seoul, and expressed concern over the prolonged war between the United States and Iran. “As the Middle East situation drags on, concerns are growing,” Chung said, adding that the group would prepare for what comes “after” through new technology development and structural improvements it can execute well. Hyundai Motor Group is currently facing disruption in its Middle East business, with possible delays to completion of its plant in Saudi Arabia and lower auto sales in the region cited.
